Montour Preserve opened to the public in 1972 around Lake Chillisquaque, and a local nonprofit, MARC, now cares for it, with its lease renewed in 2026 for another 25 years. Trails, wildlife blinds, and a lake for everyone. Pack a lunch and spend the day.
